The Legend of the Lasso

Legend has it that cattle drives began in Texas nearly 300 years ago. Derived from the Spanish term "la reata," the lasso is a tool that was essential for cowboys rounding up and herding cattle. The art and technique of the lasso is a skill still used today. In the spirit of tradition, you'll start out using a model steer designed to imitate a calf, while honing your lassoing skills in swing and delivery.
